Mermaids!!! Review---Forgive My Fins

Mermaids, wow have I stumbled into a whole new world and it could easily become an obsession. Seriously, MERMAIDS!
Probably a month ago, a fellow blogger i read mentioned Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Childs and i thought, i have to read this, even though its young adult. I don't normally read too many young adult books, well honestly b/c i like a little romance in my books then just kissing, lol. But, i had to read this. And well, i LOVED it!

Forgive My Fins

Seriously, look at that cover!

So, what's it about:
Lily is a mermaid living on land. She has a crush on the high school swim jock, Brody. She wants to make him hers and bring him home to rule in her kingdom, as she is to be queen. However, annoying next door boy Quince has other plans. One night he steals an unsuspecting kiss from Lily, only to learn she is a mermaid and if you kiss a mermaid, you too become a mermaid....or merman in  his case. Then things start to heat up between the two. She is so sure Quince is not the one for her, yet her own father isn't so sure. He wants her to really look at the situation she is in to see if Quince or Brody is right for her.

What i Thought:
Well, heck, you know that! I loved it. If this had not been young adult, the chemistry between those two would have really heated up. But either way, the chemistry was good. It was very push and pull back and forth. Very good read. If you looking for something new, go check this one out!

So...what else is mermaid out there? Any books anyone recommends?

I really want to read this one also. I like to read YA every now and again, we do find good ones at times.

I loved this book. Thanks for the recommendation. I have always loved anything to do with mermaids. I am reading another called The Last Mermaid by Shana Abe. It's good so far.
