My Thoughts: This is a very fast read. You enter the world of bondage and dominatrix with this book. So, if this isn't your style, you will want to avoid this one. This usually isn't my style, but the plot to this book really caught my interest. The biggest reason I only rated this a 2 is that I just didn't feel the chemistry between Grant and Allie. I didn't feel their connection. I felt mainly that Grant was possessive from the beginning and wanted to be in control of everything; to the point he would dictate when she could have an orgasm. I was happy at the end, she told him how she felt about this and maybe after that their relationship changed. The book ends, so we can only assume so.

I recommend this book to those who like a little more then regular erotica.

My Thoughts:  I found this book to be quite boring unfortunately. Riley, the main female character was a boring character to me. She had no personality and I kept wondering how the hunky and adventurous Zane could have been at all interested in her, besides for her child. Summer was an adorable girl and reading about her made the story fun. It was obvious that Zane was interested in Riley however I never really felt Riley's attraction back to Zane. She never expressed it even to herself much, in my opinion. Her thoughts were repeated a lot in the book to where I almost wanted to just skim to get through some parts. When finally learning of Riley's secret near the end of the book, I had hoped it would add a little spice, but I was even disappointed in her secret. 


The story line itself was good. I feel like if the character of Riley was developed a little bit more she would have been interesting. The two characters had the usual battle of fighting their emotions, which is always good. Zane had the usual, man doesn't want to settle down thing, which is always nice to read about them being taken down by love. Riley, I really didn't get why she wasn't wanting a relationship. The author stated a reason, but I just felt it could have been developed more. Riley needed more backbone, especially being a single mother. She easily backed down to confrontation. Maybe this was how she was meant to come across, but for me, I needed more.

My Thoughts: This book starts out really catching your attention. As the reader you are waiting to see what happens with the couple Erika and Peter with their quest to get pregnant. Dr. Ravell is their latest doctor that they have gone to for help. In the book, he makes a decision that makes the reader think, now this is going to get interesting. It does get interesting for awhile and I think the book could have been so much better.  To give a slight spoiler, Erika leaves her family to go after her dream of being an opera singer. At this point, that is when the books goes downhill. As the reader I expected romance with the doctor or her husband coming after her when she left for Italy. Instead after you have already 200 pages into the story, you get new characters introduced and its almost like a different story as you go with Erika on this journey. I got quite bored, wondering at this point when someone would come get her, since she had a 5 year old son she left behind. Instead three years go by before she even returns and yes we take that three year journey with her and her opera career. As I said, the book starts off very interesting and made me think this was going to be good, but it went down hill.

My Thoughts:
When I saw this on the Crazy For Books Tour site, it sounded very interesting.  I thought, especially because I love reading, this should be a fun book. I have yet to write a bad review and if I hadn't agreed to review this book, then I probably wouldn't write a review. I usually don't for the bad books, well because I know someone worked hard on this book. I know the author is proud of their work and well frankly, I feel bad writing something that says I don't like the book.


With that said, I sat down with this book. From the beginning I found myself having a hard time getting interested.  I had a hard time following this book and the characters lacked anything interesting to me. I was bored frankly. I read until about 150 pages in and then decided to read the last two chapters to see what ended up happening. I don't feel like I missed all too much by skipping ahead.  Carly was the main character and she bored me. Maybe that was the authors intention and maybe at the end of the  book she got interesting. I just felt like, if I was almost halfway through and nothing interesting was happening, that I just didn't see it getting better. The teenagers in this book were drinkers and drug users and all had parents who were to busy in there own affairs to worry about the kids.


So, this was my first bad review posted. If you have read this book, let me know what you thought. I am very interested in the opinions of others, especially with this book. I want to know if it was just me and if I just didn't get the book.
