My Thoughts: This is a very quick read and I think almost a perfect book for anyone who wonders how exactly an erotica book is from a romance book. The love scenes were not too over the top that they left you blushing, but are definitely more detailed then your average romance book. This book has a great story line too it also. There is a slight mystery as the reader wonders who exactly Bella is. Randall wants her to know how much he loves her, but he wonders if he would be crossing the line. Its takes something happening to help them each realize that what they want is right there in front of them. The time comes when the past must be put behind them, so happiness can be found.This is a very quick read, but will keep you highly entertained the entire time.

My Thoughts: This was a new author for me, and yes I am addicted. This book had been sitting in my review pile for almost 2 months and upon getting my e-reader it was number 2 on my list to get read. Well, it should have been number 1, this book was great. I love contemporary romance and this fits it perfectly. I also love when there are two stories in one book. Not only did the reader want to see Linnea and Luke get together, but each of their best friends Ingria and Wes who were complete opposites were drawn to one another. Since we didn't get as much with the two of them, I am hoping that means the author is working on a book for just those two characters.  As always, one thing I look for when reading romance is the chemistry between the characters. I have to feel the want between the two, and I definitely did in this book. Linnea was so drawn to Luke and he the same. It was one of those books where the two main characters struggled with being together, but not to where you want to throw the book across the room and tell them to just get over it. The author really balanced it well. The characters were all well liked. This is a book your going to want to read if now a days romance  for you. Especially when just watching a movie and wishing you could land a big movie star, reading this you can be with Linnea as she gets her chance to bag the hottest name is Hollywood.

Sony PRS-300 Pocket Reader Review

My new toy! I searched and searched and researched different e-readers and I finally decided that the Sony e-reader would be the perfect fit for me. Even though I knew there are ways around it, I didn't want to me limited to the places that I had to buy my e-books. I wanted to get any format just about and this seemed like the perfect match for me. So then I had to decide on what Sony and what I needed it to do. Well, I needed it to let me read books and that's all. I don't do audio books, which this specific reader does not do. I didn't need games on it (i always have my cellphone with me), I didn't need wifi on it (once again, I always have my cellphone with me). The only thing wifi would have been nice for was the instant buy a book and it would be on my e-reader. I did find a nice program that I like a lot called calibre and it works with most any e-readers (yes even kindle!) to help get books on here. Its actually easier to use then the sony software. So it helps with books I am asked to review.

So, after making the decision on which e-reader I wanted, it looked like I wanted an older model sony, not one of these newer touch screen ones. Plus, the newer touch screen ones didn't have as nice reviews and the glare was said to be bad on those. I found this model on e-bay and ended up winning the bid and paying $82, which I felt good about if you had read this blog post HERE. So I have now read a few books on it. The pages turn smoothly. The battery life is great, still full with a lot of use. My son has even read a book on it. It has the e-ink which is nice on the eyes. Over all, i love this e-reader and its really easy to read on. Its basic so it isn't full of other stuff that I just don't need. So, I think if anyone is looking for an e-reader to just read on and is small enough to take with you, this is a great option.

My Thoughts: This was a well crafted and beautiful story. Your attention will be grabbed from the beginning. Cora and Derrick are two lost souls who are looking for love, even though they did not fully realize it. It took the work of wizards to help these two realize everything they had been looking for, had not been to far from them this whole time. The Christmas wizard ball is not a ball that many know about and as the story goes on, you learn that this ball happens every year in away for God to get two people. Derrick is the first to realize his feelings as he watches her with his sister Sandy, who readers will fall inlove with also. Cora wants to, but she is unsure of his feelings, since Derrick has always come across as slightly uptight. Reading as the two learn their love for one another is a lot of fun. Each come from very differant families. Derrick who has a well built and full of love christian family, and Cora has a family who are drugs addicts and are not christian.

If you pick up this book to add to your holiday reads, you won't be sorry. Instead you will get lost in a magical story with wizards, crazy ladies who own an antique dress shop, a street that only Derrick, Cora and Sandy can see, and a love story.

Today I have as a guest Marissa Dobson, who some of my readers might now from her book review blog http://www.sizzlinghotbooks.net. She recently had her first short story published in Believe a Christmas Anthology that was published by Torqoise Morning Press.  The story that she was wrote was The Twelve Days of Seduction. Its a great story about a single mother who is starting over in a new town and taking over her late grandmothers estate. I will let Marrissa tell you a little more about. 1. Tell us a little about yourself Marissa?

When it comes to me there isn’t much to tell. I am no where near as interesting as the characters I write about. I am just your average twenty something housewife with a reading fetish and an active imagination. I am originally from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, but moved away when I met my husband.

2. How long have you been writing?

I have been writing stories since I was a teenager, but after I got married I didn't have as much time to write. About a year and half ago I started getting back into it. Taking time to write everyday, well at least Monday thru Friday while my husband is working.

3. Is this your first published story/book?

Yes this is my first story published. But if I have my say it will be the first of many.

4. Tell us a little about The Twelve Days of Seduction.

The Twelve Seductive Days of Christmas is a sweet romantic story.  Jasmine has a rocky past, she has been burned by love and family before, and now she has a daughter to worry about. She isn't looking for anything, just a quiet place that she can raise her daughter.

On the other hand Logan Clarke fell in love with the mysterious Jasmine long ago, hearing stories from her grandmother. And now that Jasmine is finally here, he knows he’s in love for sure.

Snowbound in a cottage, twelve days before Christmas, does Logan have enough time to convince Jasmine of love at first sight? And can Jasmine let go of her past, and let Logan into her heart?

5. What can we expect from you in the future?

Currently I am working on another romance story, and polishing a paranormal one. Hopefully I will have some news in the future about the publication of the paranormal one.

6. Any writing quirks?

I write best in my office surrounded by my book collection, and looking out the window (especially if it is snowing). I have to have a drink, and some hard candy that I can suck on when I am stuck and need to think the plot over. Also before I start a new work in progress (WIP) I must clean my office and desk. It gives me time to think of what I plan to do with the WIP, and in my mind it gives me a fresh slate.

7. Favorite book?

I gave this some thought and I have to say I don't really have a favorite books. When I was younger it was Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, then in my teenage years my mother got be hooked on Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews. Now I would have to say that it is Portrait in Death by J.D. Robb. I love that series, but that is one that really stands out to me at this moment.

8. Current read?

Currently I am reading Primal Bonds by Jennifer Ashley that comes out in March 2011.

9. Is there anything else you would like to share about Believe or The Twelve Days of Seduction?

I was blessed to be apart of an anthology with so many wonderful authors. Being published in Believe was extra special to me, since I am a fan of a few of my co-authors. Especially Janet Evans, I love her work. Every author in Believe is wonderful, and I expect many great things from them.
